Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 10ex.dev ("10ex," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the 10ex.dev website and services, including our integration with QuickBooks Online. By using 10ex.dev and connecting a QuickBooks Online account, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you contact us, schedule a call, or otherwise interact with us, we may collect information such as your name, email address, company details, and the contents of your communications.
Data from the QuickBooks Online integration. When you connect a QuickBooks Online account, you authorize 10ex.dev to access your accounting data through Intuit's OAuth2 authorization flow. The data we access is limited to what is required to provide the service and includes your chart of accounts and posted transactions. We do not receive your Intuit login credentials; access is granted through revocable OAuth2 tokens issued by Intuit.
Usage and technical data. We may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited to operate and secure the website.
How We Use Your Information
We use accounting data accessed through the QuickBooks Online integration to provide the features you connect for, specifically:
- Automated transaction categorization — classifying posted transactions against your chart of accounts.
- Monthly profit-and-loss (P&L) reporting — generating periodic financial summaries for your account.
To perform automated categorization, transaction data may be processed by an AI model. We use this processing solely to categorize and summarize your financial activity for the purposes described above.
How We Protect Your Data
OAuth tokens and financial data obtained through the QuickBooks Online integration are encrypted at rest. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information consistent with industry practices.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information. We may share information only with service providers who help us operate the service (such as infrastructure and AI processing providers) under obligations of confidentiality, or where required to comply with applicable law or to protect our rights.
Data Retention
We retain accounting data and generated reports only for as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. When you disconnect your QuickBooks Online account, we cease accessing new data and delete or de-identify stored financial data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
How to Disconnect
You can revoke 10ex.dev's access to your accounting data at any time by disconnecting the app from within QuickBooks Online. In Intuit, go to your connected apps settings and remove or disconnect 10ex.dev. Revoking access invalidates our OAuth tokens and stops any further data access. You may also contact us to request disconnection and deletion of your stored data.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
